Fond Memories of Being a Gymnast

Today, while I was showering, I had my little clock radio on. (I felt like listening to some tunes) Anyways, every Friday, we have a local station that plays eighties music....usually bad eighties music, not today though! As I was lathering my shampoo into my hair, (I'm sure that I looked reeeeeeeally cheesy!) I heard, "da, da, dadadadada," OK, it's a little hard to type the song, but you know the one, with synthesizers? I don't know how else to explain it, I think it was also the opening song for the movie Beverly Hills Cop. It brought back some good memories, of when my sisters and I were in gymnastics; doing our routine, full of rolls and cartwheels deluxe! I'm sure they all know the song I'm talking about.

Ahhh yeah....the gynastics music.

You know....if mom kept us in I could have been in the Olympics. I was THAT good. ;)

I tried doing a cartwheel in my living room last weekend (in front of Jeff) and practically fell. I think I pulled every muscle in my 28 year old body. Getting older is horrible!
